Today I spent some time updating the color scheme and photo on the front page. It was a great opportunity to learn more about what’s under the hood on this version of WordPress. The interface is a lot different than the one I worked with at my last job since I was mostly an administrator rather than the builder. Great to learn my way around before beginning the heavier lifting of the portfolio project. I’m planning to start with my art project management portfolio because it is probably some of the more visually exciting stuff. Then I’ll to move on to Django blog tutorial documentation, CSS/HTML experiences, and perhaps showcasing some of the graphic design work I have done. I’m sure I’ll come up with more ideas as I move along, and this project will definitely keep me in the state of learning and productivity while I’m on the hunt for my next role with my future employer!
